Frequently Asked Questions

If SourcePure™ CBD is from oranges, is it really CBD?

Yes. Our SourcePure™ CBD is identical to CBD derived from hemp. It is indistinguishable in structure and activity from all other CBD.

Is SourcePure CBD a full-spectrum CBD?

No. Full-spectrum CBD (also called broad-spectrum CBD) is derived from hemp or cannabis and can contain THC, toxic solvents, pesticides, or other undesirable, potentially psychoactive cannabinoids with no activity or benefit. SourcePure CBD, on the other hand, is professional-grade CBD containing no mystery cannabinoids or toxins – just pure CBD.*

CBD from oranges?

Yes. SourcePure CBD is created using terpenes, the organic compounds that determine smell. Best known as the aromatic hydrocarbons that fuel aromatherapy, these fragrant oils are secreted by a wide range of plants, flowers, and trees. When you think of a freshly squeezed orange’s sweet citrus aroma, you’re thinking of terpenes.
These natural terpenes are extracted and assembled in a proprietary process called Cyclic Terpene Assembly. For more information, please visit the Science page.*

Do you extensively test SourcePure?

Yes. SourcePure™ ensures a consistently excellent product by testing each batch in third party laboratory facilities to confirm the product inside the bottle is precisely the same as the one described on the label. It is also tested for heavy metals, pesticides, solvents, humic acid, microbiological contamination, and any undesirable chemicals.*

Can I bring SourcePure™ on an airplane?

Yes. SourcePure CBD is not made from cannabis or hemp. It’s made from oranges.

Will SourcePure CBD make me flunk a drug test?

For many years, the only way to guarantee a negative workplace drug test was to avoid CBD altogether. But in 2018, we discovered a process to create professional-grade CBD without using hemp or cannabis. With SourcePure CBD, you won’t fail a drug test for THC. However, it’s important to remember that CBD is a cannabinoid. Some drug tests, such as those in the professional sports industry, may test for cannabinoids in addition to THC. But such tests are rare. A vast majority of testing focuses solely on substances that cause euphoria or intoxication, effects attributable to THC, not CBD. After all, SourcePure is made using the terpenes in surplus orange peels, not hemp or cannabis.*

Can I be arrested in certain states for possessing SourcePure?

No. SourcePure CBD is not made from cannabis or hemp. It’s made from oranges.

Does SourcePure provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each batch?

Yes. Click here for more information about SourcePure’s COA and the use of COAs in the CBD industry.
